With 50,000 square feet of production capacity and three fully equipped labs, STS Chemical Division offers our clients unique industry specific solutions – regardless of batch size requirements. We maintain extremely strict biological controls on all products to ensure absolute purity. Bacterial control measures are in place for inks and dyes, and we continually conduct extensive unit operations for dye processing and purification.
Our team of experienced chemists work intimately with our OEM customers during the transfer of all toll products. The STS technical transfer team manages critical activities with both internal and external groups to ensure a smooth and rapid confidential transfer of information.
Critical tests are performed at every stage to ensure absolute downstream control and are aligned with any customer test sites as necessary. Our Quality Assurance team ensures that all regulatory requirements are fully met, following a well-defined process developed with the highest quality standards in mind.
Quality Assurance
As a supplier of inkjet products in over 160 countries, quality is our top priority. Outstanding quality was built into our design parameters from the beginning. Every raw material we use is specifically selected to develop the highest quality products available. We provide superior operability and reliability for excellent image quality, extended printhead life, and the highest product lot to lot consistency.
Process Controls
Detailed instructions and precise component weighing to ensure correct loading coupled with the staging and verification of materials for all ink formulations are reviewed to highlight deviations and perform corrective actions as required.
QC Lab Testing
The careful verification of data, methodology, calibration, and equipment maintenance are performed regularly by the QC team for each batch analyzed. Final analysis methodologies have been internally developed and documented to retain historical data for review.
QA Review
The review of manufacturing and QC data versus customer specifications allows for consistent evaluation of calculated control limits. Comparisons of final analysis data to specifications are used to confirm that key parameters are within specified limits.
Records Retention
All batch record data, final analytics, process logs, formulation verification and specification analysis are held on-site for a minimum of three years. Data for raw materials, purified dyes and ink data are held indefinitely.
